Hi,
At Towson University in 2019, I thought about that question deeply. I then
simplified and updated the library floor maps, made a web-based directory
by floor (
https://libraries.towson.edu/using-the-libraries/building-directory), made
an audio tour with transcript for each floor with then-colleague who had a
great emcee voice, and described the process in an article for anyone
grappling with the problem in the future:
https://doi.org/10.1080/19322909.2019.1662357 . You can reach out to me
individually for a copy of the article and with any follow-up questions if
you like.
All the best,
Julia Caffrey-Hill
