We're in year 2 of using libraryh3lp.com. It's worked well for us. I use Digsby as my client on Windows. As a Jabber client, it connects to Libraryh3lp and I prefer it over Pidgin. Libraryh3lp keeps transcripts and stats. I occasionally pull transcripts from Digsby directly, but I'm not sure what kinds of stats you can get from it.

fwiw, I haven't played around with it, so I don't know how much effort it
would take, but I'd think you could pull some stats from the pidgin chat
logs....
