Technical Support Analyst/Customer Service position for library automation
vendor. Duties include (but not limited to): troubleshooting, researching,
and resolving product issues for customers in the areas of client, server,
integration, and inoperability; server operating system (Solaris, Linux,
AIX, and Windows); Oracle databases; and other third party products.
Working with internal teams and supporting customers; documenting problems;
serving as point of contact to answer and relay calls; helping to improve
products and internal processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Five (5) years enterprise system experience
Must have Unix OS experience: Solaris, Linux, AIX, Nutcracker for Windows
experience
Systems administration experience, from building to testing systems, in
areas that include backups, performance, networking, filesystems, and
security
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Must be able to work within the hours of 7 am and 7 pm, Central Time
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Oracle DBA tasks, Apache, Tomcat, Java, Cognos
