This year the SciPy (Scientific Python) conference is hosting a
mini-symposium on Library Science and Digital Humanities! We welcome
submissions from the community on interesting ways in which you use Python
to augment your work -- from metadata normalization/harvesting, to research
data management, to discovery platforms, digital publishing, and more! If
you're using Python in LIS and digital humanities projects, we'd love to
see your work!
The annual SciPy Conference brings together over 700 participants from
industry, academia, and government to showcase their latest projects, learn
from skilled users and developers, and collaborate on code development. The
full program will consist of 2 days of tutorials (July 9-10), 3 days of
talks (July 11-13), and 2 days of developer sprints (July 14-15).
The submission deadline has been extended to February 15th. See the link
below for more information: https://scipy2018.scipy.org/
I hope you will submit!
