Hi, all — adding my thanks to Ryan and Oregon State for so many years of generous support!
DLF would be happy to include routine-billing-type responsibilities surrounding domain registration and a move to AWS or similar in our list of Code4Lib fiscal duties, if steady funding were identified and a process laid out for community approval of expenditures. (We left the door open to that kind of thing in our MoU, but because the original request was for fiscal sponsorship of the conference, all the processes we’ve really worked out so far have to do with annual LPC authority over conference contracts and funds.)
We’re unfortunately not staffed to take on migration, account administration, and ongoing maintenance/updates/etc, though, so shouldn’t be thought of as a replacement for OSU.
+1 to the idea of moving the main site from Drupal to Jekyll/GitHub Pages! — Bethany
