By harnessing information gained from Google Analytics, you will be prepared to make evidence-based design and content management decisions for your library’s website(s). Using a demo account, you will interact with a live Google Analytics account, learning how to understand and analyze the data presented and how to create basic reports.
By the end of this course, you will be familiar with:
* Web traffic analysis best practices
* How to build a measurement framework
* Google Analytics’ account structure, vocabulary, and administrative dashboards
* How to use Google Analytics to collect and analyze basic website traffic to better understand usage patterns, such as popular content and referrers
